Terms of Use

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PredictINJ (the "Protocol," "Interface," or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operators of PredictINJ.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

PredictINJ is a non-custodial, decentralized binary prediction market built on the Injective blockchain. The Protocol allows users to participate in price prediction rounds using the INJ token. All transactions are executed by immutable smart contracts deployed on a public blockchain.

We do not hold, control, or have access to your funds at any time. All assets remain in your self-custodied wallet and are governed solely by the smart contract code. You interact with the Protocol entirely at your own risk.

3. Eligibility & Restricted Persons

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
• You are not a resident, citizen, or legal entity located in a jurisdiction where participation in prediction markets, blockchain-based gambling, or the use of cryptocurrency is prohibited or restricted, including but not limited to the United States of America, China, South Korea, or any jurisdiction subject to sanctions by the United Nations, the European Union, or OFAC.
• You are not a Restricted Person as defined by applicable sanctions laws.
• You are accessing the Service for your own account and not on behalf of any restricted party.

Access by any Restricted Person is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to restrict access to the Interface at any time based on geographic location or other factors, without notice.

4. Risk Disclosure

You acknowledge and accept the following risks:

• Loss of funds: Participation in prediction markets involves a substantial risk of total loss of your staked assets. Do not stake more than you can afford to lose.
• Smart contract risk: The Protocol relies on smart contracts that may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or unforeseen failure modes. Despite audits and testing, no smart contract can be guaranteed to be free of flaws.
• Oracle risk: Price settlements depend on third-party oracle data (Pyth Network). Oracle failures, manipulation, or delays may result in incorrect or unexpected settlements.
• Blockchain risk: The Injective network may experience congestion, downtime, forks, or other disruptions that could affect your ability to interact with the Protocol.
• Regulatory risk: The legal and regulatory status of blockchain-based prediction markets is uncertain and evolving. Changes in law may affect your ability to use the Service.
• No guarantee of profits: Past outcomes have no bearing on future results. The Protocol does not guarantee any return on staked assets.
• Volatility: The value of INJ and other crypto assets can fluctuate dramatically and may fall to zero.

5. No Financial or Legal Advice

Nothing on this Interface or in these Terms constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or any other professional advice. The Protocol is provided solely as a technology interface. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make and should consult qualified professionals before participating.

6. No Warranties — Service Provided "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of price data, oracle feeds, round outcomes, or any other information displayed on the Interface.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PREDICTINJ, ITS DEVELOPERS, OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, OR ANY RELATED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF TOKENS OR DIGITAL ASSETS, LOSS OF DATA, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service;
• Any smart contract bug, exploit, or malfunction;
• Oracle failures, delays, or incorrect price data;
• Blockchain network disruptions;
• Unauthorized access to your wallet or private keys;
• Any round outcome, settlement, or loss of staked assets;
• Any regulatory action affecting your access to the Service.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF PROTOCOL FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE THIRTY (30) DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or attack the smart contracts or oracle systems.
• Use automated bots, scripts, or other means to gain an unfair advantage.
• Engage in market manipulation, wash trading, or any form of fraud.
• Attempt to circumvent any geographic restrictions or access controls.
• Use the Service to launder funds or engage in any activity that violates anti-money laundering laws.

9. Protocol Fees

The Protocol may charge fees on trades. Any applicable fees are deducted automatically by the smart contract and are non-refundable. Fee rates may be adjusted through on-chain governance and will be reflected in the Protocol configuration. By participating, you acknowledge and accept all applicable fees.

10. Affiliate Program

Participation in the PredictINJ affiliate program is subject to these Terms and any additional program-specific rules. Affiliate commissions are calculated and distributed based on on-chain data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate affiliate accounts at our sole discretion if we detect fraud, manipulation, or violation of these Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

The PredictINJ Interface, including its design, trademarks, and non-smart-contract code, is proprietary. The underlying smart contracts are deployed on a public blockchain and are open to inspection. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.

12. Privacy

PredictINJ is a non-custodial protocol. We do not collect personal information beyond what is publicly visible on the blockchain (wallet addresses, transaction data). Any username or profile picture you voluntarily set is stored to improve your experience. Blockchain transactions are public and permanent by nature. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services such as Injective or Pyth Network.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PredictINJ and its operators, developers, contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or (d) your participation in any prediction round.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of a jurisdiction to be determined at the operators' discretion, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

15. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with any additional terms you agree to when using specific features of the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and PredictINJ regarding the subject matter hereof.
